A magnetic lock, often referred to as a mag lock, consists of an electromagnet and an armature plate. The magnet is installed inside the door to prevent interference, while the plate is mounted on the door’s face. When connected to an electricity source, the strong magnetic attraction securely holds the plate, effectively locking the door. These locks are powered by the building’s electrical system or an independent battery pack and are considered "fail-safe," allowing safe egress during power outages.

Mechanisms of Operation

Our locking devices utilize three key access methods: keypad systems, card readers, and exit buttons. These are ideal for high-security settings. Electric strike locks, which are electro-mechanical, allow unlocking of latches or bolts using key cards, keypads, or other electronic keys.
