The model VIS-8007 is a 2- Channel 315 RF receiver supplied with antenna. This receiver is designed for use with the VISIONIS VIS-8008 2 channel remote (remote control not included).

 The receiver operates for opening doors, garage doors, and gates. Very easy and convenient as well for home/store anti-theft security systems. The receiver programs each specific code; no unauthorized person can gain access to the system by reprogramming or duplicating the Transmitter (remote). This transmitter (remote) can be programmed locally into the memory of the receiver.

    Yes! The Visionis VIS-8007 is a 2-Channel RF Receiver, which means it can control two separate doors or devices simultaneously. 2 RF channels — can operate two independent outputs (e.g., two garage doors, gates, or electric strikes). Up to 50 remotes can be paired to a single receiver

  • Does the wireless receiver need Wi-Fi?

    No, the Visionis VIS-8007 does not require Wi-Fi. It operates on 315MHz RF (Radio Frequency) wireless technology, which works completely independently of any internet or Wi-Fi connection.

  • What power supply does it need?

    The Visionis VIS-8007 requires a DC 12V–24V power supply.

  • Does this wireless receiver have a long range?

    Yes!

    Things that can affect range:

    • Walls and obstructions — thick concrete or metal walls can significantly reduce range
    • Interference from other 315MHz devices nearby
    • Outdoor vs. indoor — open outdoor environments will generally get closer to the maximum 320 ft range, while indoors may be less
    • For most residential and small commercial applications (driveways, gates, garages), 320 feet should be more than sufficient.

  • Can the VIS-8007 work with any remote control?

    No, it is only compatible with Visionis VIS-8008 remote control.

  • Can the VIS-8004 be used outdoors?

    No, it isn't rated for outdoor use.

  • Can it turn on/off not just momentary ? Like turn on a light?

    Yes, the receiver has a second fuction that works as a toggle on/off switch.
