The FPC-5670 kit includes a VIS-3002 standard-sized indoor keypad/reader for access control and 10 proximity cards. This versatile keypad offers three access options: entering a PIN code, using a proximity card, or using a proximity key tag. It supports up to 1,000 users through any of these three access methods.

Since this is a standalone system (meaning it does not use software), it is recommended that you keep a manual record of all personnel and their assigned user IDs along with their corresponding PIN codes, cards, or key tags. On the keypad, you’ll notice a doorbell button on the right-hand side, allowing visitors to ring and notify those inside.

When a valid code, card, or tag is used, the locking mechanism disengages to allow entry. Once the door is closed, it automatically re-engages and remains locked until another valid credential is presented. Through the indoor keypad, you can set the relock delay time from 0 to 99 seconds—this determines how long the lock remains open before automatically re-engaging.
