So the reader has a dedicated press-button/signal output that the VIS-8006 chime connects to — when someone presses the doorbell button wired to the reader, the VIS-8006 sounds.
The VIS-8006 doorbell can even work with access control keypads from other brands that have a compatible doorbell interface output at the same voltage.

- Connect to a DC12V power source. Connect the red wire to positive (+) and the black wire to negative (–).
